Typical in ford radios, looks off but is just the lights out. runs about 125 to replace the circuit board controlling the lights or buy junkyard radio for about 200 VenomInMyVeins 05-04-2004, 06:33 PM that's how mine is... the backlight's off no matter what... i dunno how important it is to you, but I can see mine during the day, and I deal with it. Just make sure the knob clicks when you turn it all the way to the left... then it should go off... if it doesn't reply to our posts... new2trucks 05-05-2004, 06:31 PM Thanks for you suggestons. It doesn't really bother me but it does freek my husband out once in a while. If he forgets he is in my truck instead of his car and he is driving down the road and suddenly there is music playing or he hears someone talking when he is alone. Then he sees that the radio has turned itself back on. All I do is turn it all the way down then push the button to turn it off. I might use it as a excuse to put in a CD player though. Once again thanks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
