Strange Noise Comes From...

First of all I'd like to say hi to everyone as this is my first post. It kind of sucks that I had to come here and beg all for your help in my inagural post, but hey I had to do it some time.

Here's the deal.

2004 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T
5 Speed manual.
Bone stock, it has about 800 miles on it.

I was doing my first high speed test, if thats what you want to call it.
Anyway, I was bombing down a country road, and as I aproached 100 MPH the acceleration took a serious dump and I heard a loud phssssssht noise. I then slowed down and punched it again, same noise. Then the noise quit. Now I seem to have no boost.

Blown intercooler pipe?
If so, is there a common joint where the IC pipes tend to seperate?

Thanks

Check you diverter valve, it's a plastic valve with three hoses coming off it to the right and back of the engine. Check all hoses in that area for splits, craks, or if they have come off. Also, check the piping going to the intercooler and throttle body. This is most likely a loose hose or broken n75 or diverter valve. If you take off the diverter valve, you should be able to push on the mechanism inside and move it with your finger.

It was indeed a IC pipe, it blew off on the top side of the pancake pipe, it seems as though the stock pipe clamps suck ass.
