Ok it looks like im stuck stuck with an si ecu for a few weeks or so.My question is will this hurt my motor at all? I know it wont run as good as the b16b ecu, wich is ok for a few weeks just dont want to hurt it.

i don't think it will hurt it. the only drawback is the lower redline point, but i wouldn't want to drive around a hitting the rev limiter without the proper ecu anyway.

i have a b16b and smacking the measily si rev limiter will not hurt the 9k limit that the typer can handle. personally i shift @ 8500 rpms unless a real close race then i use the 9k package. so anyways the ecu will make your car a si but you will have more power due to = 10.8-1 compression and the ported and polished head
