turbo 350 transmission

Has anyone had this problem before? i have a 350 turbo trans that leaks from the front rightside of it. i've checked the lines bolt to the pan and they are all tight, plus i put two new gaskets on it but it still leaks all of the fluid out if its not driven for a couple of days, I don't know what else to do.

Isn't that the corner where the dipstick tube goes in? Guessing bad O-ring on bottom of tube, running down and looking like a pan gasket leak. Also, include model, make, year, engine, etc. with your posts and you will get better answers. BTW-checked your profile-your a "studant"?

Re: turbo 350 transmission

Then my best advice would be add a flouresant (? ) dye to the trans and check it with a blacklite. You may have something wierd going on,like a cracked or pourous trans. case, the front pump seals may be leaking, etc. The trans pan may be bent enough not to seal.

Re: turbo 350 transmission

I was thinking the same think about it being cracked,i know its not the front seal because its new and that would leak from the dust cover ( a hole in the bottom of it), so i'll check it again for a crack, hope it not because i don't want to take it out.
