Very powerful lookin... fatninja19 02-12-2004, 11:29 PM holy moly. my wet dream too! whtteg 02-12-2004, 11:30 PM Yes that is a nice car. I'll take it :icon16: -The Stig- 02-12-2004, 11:35 PM Yeah, but you know what those cars with the V8s, SR20DETs, and RB25DETTs don't have? But mine has an abundance of? A complete lack of... HORSEPOWER! :ylsuper: Neutrino 02-12-2004, 11:42 PM HORSEPOWER! :ylsuper: Big deal just drive downhill all the time :icon16: broddie50 02-12-2004, 11:53 PM ^ heh heh heh! Steel 02-13-2004, 05:20 AM that's a 280z if i'm not mistaken? Early 80's? Very very awesome looking cars... And pretty cheap to pick up IIRC, although usually look like crap. FDTT 02-13-2004, 05:31 AM Well i think you are mistaken. It looks to be a 1972 Datsun 240Z. You can tell from the windows, and the hood that it is a 240Z, not to mention the lights. Very nice, but i think the fender flairs are to high in the middle. Steel 02-13-2004, 05:37 AM Ah drat. Close enough for my very limited Z knowledge.... ooh.. 70's... no emissions :D FDTT 02-13-2004, 05:39 AM no emissions till 82. Well no need for cats anyway. Killer sleeper, 240ZX w/ 280ZX motor and tranny:) Never know what hit em. LoW_KeY 02-13-2004, 08:40 AM damn sweet! :D as said before the deep dish wheels are just :pimp: mynismo 02-13-2004, 09:49 AM it's so hard to get a z into that condition. nice job to whoever built it -The Stig- 02-13-2004, 06:38 PM no emissions till 82. Well no need for cats anyway. Killer sleeper, 240ZX w/ 280ZX motor and tranny:) Never know what hit em. There are no 240zx... the ZX's didn't come till the 280s. But you could get a 280z... wasn't as great as the 280zx though. it's so hard to get a z into that condition. nice job to whoever built it Or, you can just buy one in good condition like I did. All it takes is money. Money can cure any problem on any car. Plastic_Fork 02-13-2004, 09:24 PM My neighbor when I used to live in Tennessee had a Datsun that looked just like that, except he was restoring it when I moved - and his was painted yellow. Looks great though. Bunta 02-15-2004, 12:02 AM If I had a Z (scoop! supposedly my landlord who lives down the road is selling his for $250 I am checking it out tommarrow) I'd put the 280ZG front end treatment on it. I heard that you can order the stuff from japan. 'Spensive, but worth it. I wouldn't have chrome wheels on mine (too flashy). I love Z's. TatII 02-15-2004, 12:44 AM damn!! i want a 240 now!!!! i'll trade him my 240 for that 240 :naughty: Layla's Keeper 02-15-2004, 04:18 PM Plenty of cool and unique Z's on that site for sure. I remember reading an article on this pair. Aren't they pretty? http://ecahost.com/280z/zpics/restoz20.jpg And if you want to talk deep dish, than let's talk about this Z's monsters. http://ecahost.com/280z/zpics/new1.jpg or this. http://ecahost.com/280z/zpics/newwhite2.jpg Definitely a good look for a Z. Minilites, Panasports, or RS Watanabes. The only stand in on a Z for those wheels are American Racing Libres, like on the classic BRE Datsun 240Z's and 510's. Actually, this Z has a BRE "Spook" front spoiler and American Racing Libres. http://ecahost.com/280z/zpics/new4.jpg Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
