Re: 63 Nova rearend

Well i know that the rearend from a 85 s-10 will fit under my 75 nova, i don't see why you should have any problems.

rearend

A rearend from an S-10 will not fit in your 62-67 nova or acadian. I have a 63 acadian and an S-10 rearend I wanted to use. You would have to move the spring locations inward to have any tire clearance unless you want to run little skinny tires, as in factory width. I found a 9" with 4:10's and a posi, that was the perfect width. No modification required, other that changing the spring saddles. Cut off the ones on the 9" and weld on the ones from your stock piece of junk rear end.
