not hard to upgrade gsx or gst right?youngvr4 02-11-2004, 04:16 AM around what hp numbers do you need to change your injectors, or around what psi do you have to change injectors, reason i'm asking is cause i was trying to explain something to someone about gsx eclipses and how easy they are to upgrade, with big turbo upgrade a fuel controller and a bc what times are we looking at i figured low 12's high 11's, am i wrong? cause i seen some guy with nothing more than a turbo upgrade running a average of 12.8 he also ran a 12.5 though. LandoAWD 02-11-2004, 09:13 AM Follow the upgrade path at www.dsmtuners.com for a rough idea on what to do when. NJ4cF3d 02-11-2004, 11:46 AM they are easier than bmw's thats for sure... cheaper yes, but still expensive 2of9 02-11-2004, 05:47 PM they are way easy to modify. My cuzin's Tsi AWD has I/H/E and boost controller, and some other gas and oil...injectors for his talon...he tells me he's hittin the low 300 HP range...thats alot...i gotta see those dyno sheets... BoostedSpyder 02-11-2004, 08:18 PM 95gsxracer hit 12's with 1800 in performance mods kjewer1 02-12-2004, 04:35 AM I ran high 12s with the stock pump and stock injectors. Injectors isnt a big deal, but I would recomend going that fast on a stock pump. I was watching the datalogger closely to be sure it was safe to do. Here is the "easy" way to mod DSMs. And this has all been done by cars that are mine, or friends. 1G: pump, exhaust, filter, hack MAS (to push up fuel cut), boost controller, and race gas. Mid 12s. 2G: cheap UICP with 1g BOV, boost controller, exhuast, filter. 16-17 psi and pump gas, low 14s. 20 psi (dropping off of course) on race gas, high 13s. Fuel control would make the race gas case a little quicker, but then its no longer "easy modding." ;) 1g obviously has the advantage since it already has a good sized turbo. The above assumes AWD, adjust accordingly for Wrong Wheel Drive. :p AcesHigh 02-12-2004, 10:29 AM The above assumes AWD, adjust accordingly for Wrong Wheel Drive. :p ... LOL  This is true however, AWD will noticeably help you launch. DSMs are relatively responsive to modifications. The 2G's were made with more creature comforts, and as such to keep the price low, a few weaker parts. GSX21 05-26-2004, 01:15 AM inake exhaust turbo upgrade fuel pump boost etc... it can all be found on dsmtuners.com it has the correct tuning guide BoostedSpyder 05-26-2004, 01:58 AM hey quit bringing up old posts for no good reason... BoostedSpyder is just trying to help you understand the practices of the forum--while it is very interesting and informative to READ old threads, we don't post on old threads in order to keep the thread list fresh for everyone, even senior members ;). Stop biting people's heads off, because Vince was much more polite than he could've been in asking you not to post on old threads. And FYI, I think Vince would gladly take his convertible and fuck himself any hour of the day :iceslolan:! EclipseRST 05-27-2004, 02:28 PM this thread isnt actually a bad one to bring back... there are some helpful info in here for anyone lookin for some quick mods.... GSX21 ---> no need to act like that, its a basic rule here to not bring up old posts! and DO NOT tell anyone to go fuck themselves just for telling you not to bring up old threads exspecially someone who has more experiance on the site than you!!!
