Filled up with gas this morning, drove 20 miles, shut down, drove 10 more miles, shut down and had lunch. Car would barely start, and had no throttle. Felt like no gas. Finally would not start at all. Towed it home. Thinking about relieving pressure on fuel rail, and see if the fuel will pressure back up. The car was running fine, no check engine light until now. I do not have a scan tool, was wondering what the best way to proceed on this might be. What is the easiest way to check for spark on this model? Any tests to eliminate the fuel pump? Thanks for any advice! :banghead:

I would start with the fuel pump. Have someone turn on the key while you are back at the gas tank and see if you can hear it running. If not check to see if you have pressure at the fuel rail. If you do try it 3 or 4 times to make sure it keeps building pressure. If not replace fuel pump. To check for spark pull a plug wire and put in an old plug and ground to block then crank over. If your fuel pump went bad it wont throw a code from the ECM.

Checked pressure at rail, none. Where is the fuel filter and fuse for the fuel pump? Tried to buy a manual yesterday, but sold out. Want to check the two previous, before I replace the fuel pump. I looed in the fuses under the drivers side inside, but did not see one. Thanks for any help.
