Anyone run theirs yet? Or know of anyone that did. I'm looking for real experiences here and not something that was read in a mag, for obvious reasons.

Me neither and I don't live around a track. Anyone know the top speed on one? I ran mine 118-119, but I just fine like it should go faster. My 1.6 Sentra ran to 115 mph and it only had 105 horse. :bloated: :bloated:

I took mine up 130, no shit. Me and my car club were just cruising on the highway this past Saturday. Now there were two type R's and an SI there only about 4or5 of us rolling at that time. But anyway they started to punch it and then I got in front of the TypeR and then I punched it and as we were driving my boy called my cell phone, the guy who was in my car answered it, my boy in the TypeR was like Damn how fast is Damion going, my friend in the TypeR was like I GOING 140 AND I CAN'T CATCH HIM, THIS IS THE FASTEST I'VE GONE AND I STILL CAN'T CATCH HIM. Now this TypeR has the works done to it, V-TECH controller, AEM intake, spoon headers, Toda cams and cam shaft, no exhaust. So what do you think of that "SpecV" sound good to you? So believe me when they produce shit like full cat-back exhaust, good intakes, and headers trust me we will be able to go past 140. Just incase you guys don't know NISMO is coming to the States and they are gonna be offering Factory Warranty on parts just like TRD be doing with there shit. So it's gonna on by spring or summer time. Peace:alien:

That is BADDD ASSSS! Thats what I'm talking about. But shouldnt you have been going faster than 140 if your friend in the Type-R was going 140 and he couldnt catch you?

I know right, now normally that's how things would go. I have no idea why he didn't catch me. But I guess the torque was playing a huge roll in it cause I didn't go any faster. Last night me and a friend of mine went to a club. He has an SI, he's another one with the works done to it, Tanabe exhaust, cams, DC Sports 4-1 headers AEM intake. Anyway we just rolling then I guess he got bored cause then he punched it and then I down shifted and I was catching him and then passed him. I was like ( YOU AIN'T LEAVING ME ANYMORE) So we kept doing back and forth he beat me, then I would beat him. I got it back up to 125, then 130. So you guys when you drive today on some highway punch it and get that sun of a bictch up there. Peace:alien:

Well at those speeds, its all about horse. Torque is for getting up there, once you're there is all hp. But anyway, I tried a few times to see my max and I only got it up to 118. Granted I was damn near floating and it was slight turns.

I don't know what to say bro. Mine goes past 120 pretty easly, just keep at it and find some long straight ways, whether it's the highway or a long ass strip.

And you're stock? Were you in 5th gear?

15.12@94. Just did it yesterday. Man whatever magazine says that they are running like 15.7 stock, is full of shit. This is coming to you from me, REAL experience's..no magazine article's. Trust me bro, your car can also run faster than 15.7..:alien:

i would imagine the top end on the se-r is nice. after all if i could get one more gear i would be able to hi 140 150. even with my large drive ratios.

Just to let all you know...the top speed of this car is 130 MPH.

I am not going into the details of why it is not faster than that, you should know if you know your car.

really i wonder why so low? is there a restrictor? and at what rpm do you hit when you get to 130 in 6th?

I've been trying to tell them that for over a month now. Mine did 130, the thing that sucks is that the power is there to get you to 130 but once you get into 6th it's just a cruising gear and that's when I get caught and people start to catch me. But I see that I'm not the only one who got there's up there.:alien:

just to add, its not V-tech, thats a toy, its vtec. btw, i really hope nismo makes it here by summer, thatll be great to be buyin nismo turbo goodies for my car, its frekkin expensive, buy hey they fit like a charm and great quality.

I was reading the comparo in MotorTrend, and they said the rev limiter is set to 6500 rpms. Peak hp is made at like 6200, so it is really close to when the limiter will kick in.

Last weekend on my way to work, I had mine to 130 at about 5,400 rpms. So anyone who says it can't be done must have a problem with theirs. This is a great car though. I love mine.

Check about three threads up. Your not the only one that can do it. I've been trying to let other people know that it can be done. :alien:

I live about a minute from a decent stretch of highway, 30 seconds in the spec v. I got mine to 126 before i ran out of road. 4th gear got to 100, almost exactly. 5th made it to about 120, then i grabbed the 6th. I'll try it again in a few days (after the weekend there a fewer cops out there) We shall see if i can break 130, if i had a little more road i am certain i could go past 130.
