I am giving my car a tune up nothing special or anything. I have a 97 GP GT. I bought the bosch plat +4's for it.. what would you all suggest for the rest of the compent's in which i would need to do this?? Also I have the manual for it and they say you need to rotate the engine to get to the back spark plugs. Which seems to be a pretty easy project but how easy is it really?? any tips or suggestions are much appreciated... Thanks to all in advance

Do a favor, DON'T put the bosch +4's in it. They generate more heat than a standard plug, and there is no way to properly gap them. Replace the wires with stock AC Delco wires, and be sure to gap your NEW plugs properly.

To rock the engine just unbolt the dogbones, and then push the car forward until the rear rocker cover is visable and then set the parking brake, and if you like chock the front wheels.

The procedure presented by packrat is correct, also there is a puller that you install where the dogbone is supposed to be and you can pull the engine without pushing the car. This toll can be found on autozone. If you already got the Bosch and do not mind trying them on, do so. Even tought the packrat68 is correct about the gapping since your car is N/A nothing would hurt to try them on to see how the car behaves.
But to tell you the truth I always have driven Chevis, GMs in general. And I get the best service out of them when using OEM parts or brand names performance parts. They are a little bit pricier but the almost hassle free operation of the vehicle worth it.

OK,

Besides the plugs
Replace plug wires (use stock acdelco)
Check belt (check for cracking, missing grooves)
New air filter (or if you have K&N then recharge)

Also check all the pullies for wear as many people have had tensioner pullies snap off.

To get to the rear plugs, unbolt the 2 front engine mounts (aka DOGBONES) have someone push/rock the car forward and when the motor is in the farthest forward position apply the parking brake.

Use plenty of Dielectric grease on the plugs/wires/and coils.
