DHP case learning

OK, I live in Germany and am expecting my DHP in the mail any day now. There is one GM dealer around here, and I'm not sure how much English they speak. I need to know everything about case learning the PCM (what it is, how they do it, etc) so when I go to the dealership, they don't end up messing it up.

Print that out and take it with you. If you need any other direction I would email DHP. They can email you the instructions also.

This should take about 5 minutes

Re: DHP case learning

I read Ripn12s link. When my car got the DHPV1.0 installed that procedure was not followed. The PCM has been on the car 2.5 months now, should I do this procedure as well?

Re: DHP case learning

Thanks for the link. On that page, it says to enter 98 as the vehicle year. I have a 99... does it matter or was that write-up for 98s?

Re: DHP case learning

Try entering 99 and if it doesnt work then try the 98.

I cant remember the exact reason why DHP did this.
