The AOD transmission on my '88 F-150 is starting to slip on semi-hard acceleration. Guess the bands are shot, but I've got more than 200,000 miles on this rebuild. Got 422,000 on the truck with the original (never rebuilt) 302 engine. Back to the point - does anyone have any feedback on the Accurate transmissions that Advance Auto Parts sells? They've got a 15-month unlimited mileage warranty and are about $200 cheaper than I can get anywhere else.

I say go for it! Drive the piss out of it and see if you notice any give.
