1977 Pick Up 20R Carb

I'm trying to find one. The truck is a bit beat up, so I don't want to spend a lot, but I'm not ready to give up on it yet.

Any ideas?

Re: 1977 Pick Up 20R Carb

A Weber 32/36 is definitely a good choice. If the engine is in good/decent running condition, and the carb is giving you problems, the Weber is the cure. It's a little expensive, but to me, it was always worth it. Did it 3 times...a 79 with a 20R, an 83 with a 22R, and a 73 Datsun with a 1600. I was recently looking at an 85 with a 22R, that had an older model 32/36 Weber...and it ran perfectly, even though it had 221,000-plus miles on it. If you plan on keeping the truck, and the engine's ok,do it...you won't regret it. (The complete set-up comes with the carb, air cleaner, intake adapter, and some throttle linkage parts...around 300-400 bucks...but it's worth it)
