Windshield washer pump

I have a 97 Lumina and a few problems I can't seem to figure out.
My windshield washer pump will not spray washer fluid. I changed the pump and got the same result. Pulled the pump out and activated the spray mode. The pump jumped. It was getting short bursts of electricity every time the wiper blades cycled. But the same control stick that activates the washer pump has another issue. The windshield washer works in slow and fast modes but not delay. Has anyone had this problem before?

Re: Windshield washer pump

Pump issue:
It's very common that the nozzels get impacted with concentrations of the gunk that grows in the w/w fluid tank. Sometimes they can be reamed out with a tiny drill bit; usually though it's time to R&R both spray nozzels.

No pulse wiper:
With wiper switch in delay pulse mode, term B at W/W motor (gray wire) should show battery voltage.

At Term F (pink wire) there should be a voltage relative to where you've set the delay switch. If this term is cold look for either an open delay set switch (R&R with new part) or an open due to physical damage on thepink wire run between the switch and motor. A resistive connector body connection can novoltage this circuit, but the amps used here are very low, hence it's unlikely. But not impossible.

Please tell me what you find.
