Re: Gt500 350z?
I think I saw one at Freshalloy.com's forums. Do a search for the 350Z Type E, and you'll see the limited-production road car version.

GT500 Z33 that will be replaced R34 in this year (2004) JGTC. But, is not confirm yet, because they were still in track testing. A magazine in Japan got some pict on it, they happen to see that, but the body is still in primer... But the JGTC news did said that GT-R will no longer racing in JGTC 2004. That's why they said last year (2003) Round 8 is the final run, and Xanavi won the championship. I think they will used Z33 to replaced R34 since they are the same engine (VQ30DET) under the hood, but the areo might be very different, so until now is Xanavi and Pitwork Racing be using Z33 to replaced R34, nobody know until the race start. They also said R35 will be release on 2007, so in these 3 years.... hope they will give us some surprise...

Re: Gt500 350z?
Found a pic of both the GT500 Fairlady Z and the Fairlady Z Type E.

I can't see how anyone can bitch about how Trans-Am cars bear so little resemblance to their street-going brethern and yet have so few problems with THAT amount of chopping, channeling, sectioning, and raking.
Heck, that's the sort of bodywork George 'effin BARRIS would be proud of. They really need to bring the JGTC bodywork rules back under control, or open up the rules to the foreign cars in the series.
Hmm.... what would a JGTC Corvette, 911, Maranello, or Viper look like if it received similar EQUAL modifications.
Jeez, I like watching JGTC racing but this is too much.

Re: Gt500 350z?
That's just the GT500 car. The GT300 Fairlady Z looks a lot more like the street car.
Edit: On second thought, you probably know that.

Re: Gt500 350z?
It looks fine to me... I actually like the longer wheel-base on the TYPE-E.
