93 gtp died

Its my buddies car and he said it just madea clicking noise then just kinda died.. any ideas? i have a few just wondering

yeah this is sean.. i meant the 93 wasn't quite sure what the year was.. but i'm gonna start woring on it tuesday.. teach says timing belt.. i think valves

i would have to say that your right on the valves, if ur lucky its nothing major but on a DOHC engine its more likely that it is something major, that ticking could have been a valve sticking open and then being forced shut like it happend to my friends car but i his case when it died the valve was stuck open and the piston came up and smoked it (not good)

Well if the car is DOHC and the problem is at the valve level at least is not that expensive to fix like if you have to realign or install seals to the crank. All they have to do is take out the heads and correct them

actaully it is my friends car, i was looking to buy it if it was worth fixing. don't think gonna do it though
