When I stick it to the floor in D4 or fourth gear which is the recomended driving gear The car revs up really high and it will not shift WTF!!:screwy: If any of you guyz can help me Id appreciate it THANKS!!!!!! H.tech 02-05-2004, 11:42 PM check the tranny fluid first!!!!!!! (no offence) and if its good then try resettting your computer (disconnect the power from your battery for about 5 mins) than take it for a real hard ride .. if its none of the about you might have a screwed up solenoid or maby even a faulty sensor Young_gee 02-06-2004, 02:32 PM I think your transmission has failed you, it' going to cost about 2,500 maybe a tab more to have it replaced. Ricochet 02-06-2004, 04:48 PM You guys are idiots. Yeah your tranny needs replaced, or you'll be on the side of the road sometime soon. I had the same exact problem in a 94 Talon and it finally broke, about 2 months after the problem started. You can buy an automatic junkyard tranny in great shape for $300-$500, and a shop will install it for about $150. Go to www.car-part.com and look up the part. It will give a complete list of prices and junkyards close to you. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
