Unhappy 2000 isuzu rodeo p0300 stalling, rough idle

Please help, my 2000 isuzu rodeo (3.2L v6) (65,000 miles)is pretty sick. about a month ago the CEL came on and since then its been all down hill. Been to autozone, the code read was p0300 (random multible misfire). They suggested that I change plugs and wires. Well the rodeo had 100,000 mile platinum plugs, and with the coil on plug setup, it has no plug wires. I bought new champion double platinum plugs and installed them. All 6 old plugs looked in perfect condition by the way the new plugs had no effect at all. this thing does not want to idle , when it does,it idles rough and very slow around 500 rpm, has no power and a octane knock when in any strain at all. And yes I have been burning premium gas. I am the second owner of the vehicle and therefore it has no warranty left on it and given my current lack of funds I have not taken it to the dealer....yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

word is the 3.2/3.5 do not like Champion plugs or bosch (it has been noted here that they may actually add to knocking). Stick with Desno NGK.

Also a fluxuating RPM at idle usually means you have a bad intake gasket.

Or you need to clean your EGR (search here for EGR and you'll find lots of great info).
