Help!! Heater doesn't go and it's -35 F

The heater quit in my 1998 3500 on the weekend. The cab was filled with smoke. Smelled like a burnt motor. I changed the blower motor this afternoon. Still nothing. Checked the switch in dash. Everything seemed to meter out fine. Removed the resistors. They all looked good but I couldn't get a meter on them. When I switch fan to high speed I can hear the relay "click" but fan doesn't turn. I'm at a loss. What could be wrong here?

Forgot to mention that the motor was starting to squeal a bit last week. After changing it, checked old one, motor still turned but slow and wobbly. The fuse for the heater is good.

if the fuse is still good its probbably the resistor pack the tells the motor how fast to turn or the blower motor relay . it may still click but the connections on 30 to 87 could be bad
