Question Rear seat belts

I have a 94 GMC Sub. My kids complain that on a trip the rear seat belts gradually get tighter and tighter until they have to unbuckle them pull them way out and start over. I'm sure this is for car seats, but can it be adjusted to act like the front retractable belts?

Re: Rear seat belts

Is ther anyone who can address my question? I'm a little surprised to get zero responses from what seems to be such a qualified group. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is with the shoulder belt I dont think you can do anything about it. When you bounce the seatbelt tensoinor(sp) it will adjust to make it tighter.
