Went for a ride in a GTRa747ba 02-02-2004, 02:08 AM Hey guys went for my first ride in a r33 skyline gtr, all i can say is WOW im impressed, amazing car, also drove the jap spec evo8, not to shabby, kinda strange shifting wiith the left hand but that would only take a day to get use to.. anyway im new to thsi forum and just thought i would say hi, im tryinig to work on importing skylines to the US. i pretty much have all the right contacts, i may even become a RI.. if that goes thru u guys will see amazing prices on skylines, if i cant do this for some reason i may have to end up moving back to trinidad and sending a skyline for myself :iceslolan later.. Rob p.s. the one in front is the one i rode in, the one wiith the oz sticker has a t78 single turbo conversion..... do stock skylines blowoff? Oh yeah, my dad has a shipping company so he knows lots about customs and all that bs.. oh yeah my sister also works for a company that sells jap cars http://bellsouthpwp.net/a/7/a747ba/Skylines/DSC00143.JPG http://bellsouthpwp.net/a/7/a747ba/Skylines/DSC00142.JPG RazorGTR 02-02-2004, 03:59 AM I hope your not saying that skyline the guy is standing infront of is a T78 single turbo conversion. It certainly appears to have the two pipes of the twin setup, not to mention you can't low mount a T78 as there is no room down there. I don't see a turbo housing sticking up. Either way congrats on the ride. Moppie 02-02-2004, 04:20 AM I think the one with the T78 is the car with no wing, theres what look like an Oz sticker on the boot. And we all know that R32's are more fun to ride in :) a747ba 02-02-2004, 04:28 AM yeh in the second picture the car on the right with the oz stiicker on the trunk was running the t78.... oh man these cars are a blast do they blow off stock, kinida like a little flutter.. maybe a diverter valve of some sort? RazorGTR 02-02-2004, 10:32 AM a747ba yes. They have twin blow off valves factory, but most of the time that gets changed to a trust type R or simular. flylwsi 02-02-2004, 02:16 PM and why is this in the US forum? a747ba 02-02-2004, 03:38 PM and why is this in the US forum?
