f series mileage

i am looking at buying a used f series truck not sure what one just yet. i know i am going to be getting something cheaper like under $10k, and a manual if at all posible, and it will be either a 150 or a 250, and not srue if i want a diesel or not . and i am just wondering how many milies i could expect to get out of one of these trucks. what do you guys think? thanks for the input.

from my personal experience..... as long as you take care of the truck ( i.e. don't dog it out, change the oil, etc... ) that ford trucks will last 200k to 300k miles... sometimes more.....

For around $10k, you should be able to get a nice late-model truck, amybe even an '01.

The enignes are VERY durable, if cared for at all, they'll easily see 200,000 miles.
