I decided to post this in a new thread to make sure you saw it, it's a continuation of my TPS adjustment thread. You seem to have knowledge of this subject and I can't find any info on the web about it.

Is APP the same as ATP (Absolute Throttle Position)? My diagnostic software displays this value in percent (%). Also I reviewed a small session that I recorded and compared it to a recording of my 01 Dakota. The ATP on my Dakota would rise and fall with RPM (makes sense seeing as how it's monitoring throttle position), however the ATP gave me almost no reading on the Rodeo when RPM went up. The Dakota reading was about 14.9% at idle, the Rodeo reading was 0%. Is the sensor bad or does it need adjustment? And how do I adjust it?

APP is accelerator pedal position sensor
ATP is not the same I do not know of any a/m scan tool with the ability to display APP % and that is the one that you need you may be better off just taking in to the dealer
