2000 - Did P0401 work, EGR valve bad?

I did the carbon cleaning work specified on this site for the above code. The EGR valve pintle was completely seized. I spent some time on it and got it moving freely for the most part but noticed that when I hold it in it's normally mounted position, and push and release the pintle with a screwdriver, that it will sometimes hang a but and require a small amount of effort to push in, meaning it's not completely free moving. Should I replace it or just wait ind see if the code comes back?

I'd wait to see how it performs in the truck, but is sounds like the valve itself is bad.
G/luck
