But do you guys think i should go with an automatic or a stick ? You, being an auto enthusiast and not just a commuter lemming, . . . wait patiently until the manual transmission is available . . . and then you get sick with some nice wheels.

Especially since you love to be unique, you take the waiting period as an opportunity to ORDER your car with the specific color combination you like . . . that way, when they arrive you don't end up just buying whatever color is left at the local $tealership because they claim to be giving you a "SPECIAL" deal . . . you also get to use the time between now and August to do research and find out what cosmetic upgrades are available, that way you can buy them ahead of time, and have them color-matched and installed before you are even seen driving the car . . .

That would be HOT!

i agree... get a stick...
chicks dig a guy that drives stick...

also...
you would regret not getting it with the stick, b/c i think it wont be a hugely popular option... at least in my opinion... so go that route...
it is just so much cooler that way...
you could also import the altezza badges, and ditch the lexus ones.. that would make a sweet ass ride...

Yeah,

A definite GO on the Altezza badges . . .

PS . . . Flywsi . . . since you know what chicks dig . . . I guess it's safe to assume that you would have to be one of the CUTEST car "guys" on the forums . . .

You definately seem to know your stuff . . . I stumbled onto your post about NOS pros and cons in the Lex GS sub-forum . . . it was a bit over my head though . . . I know NOTHING about Nitrous, 'cept that's it's much safer now than it was years ago . . .

Later!

i_rebel...
i will take that all as a compliment...
i do know my shit, but most of it is b/c i read car and truck mags all day, and i work at stylin concepts with some extremely smart people who know about everything suspension, and otherwise...
i listened to my tech guy talk bout nitrous for about an hour with a customer, so that is why i know about the wet kits, the dry kits, zex, venom, how to blow a throttle body off the motor... good stuff...
and on the cutest thing...
i am not gonna respond, b/c it will most likely be a flame starter b/c people think i'm braggin... but read some of the shiet in the honda section, and the civic forum, you can get an i dea there...

oh, yeah, back to the topic...

get a stick, with some sick huge 18s in black, on a black car, with the altezza badges, which i just saw on overboost.com today, and get the tails that are black, they are altezza imported lites...

and hey, put a turbo on it, just to prove lexus wrong and show em that it'll fit in there, somehow...

total off topic, but chek out these rims and the reflections... gaudy, but a cool pic...

Why give up 1/3 of the driving? You wouldn't get automatic pedals or automatic steering.

Why drive a car if you can't control the car?

And then try to track down this kit:

I don't know any MAN that wouldn't get a stick

if you're an old queer who just drives to get from point A to point B then go auto

but if you enjoy driving than stick is the only way to go, you're more connected to the car that way

What's up with people who put Altezza badges on their lexus? It's a "toyota altezza", not a "Lexus Altezza". Do it right!
