2.2 ecotec to 3.8 supercharged

Hey, my friend has a grand prix gtp and was wanting to get an ls1 5.7l engine put in his car so he can compete with the gto's hehe. Anyways that means that he will have a 3.8l engine with a supercharger laying around. What would i have to go through to swap it with my 2.2 ecotec from my 2004 cavalier ls sports copue with an auto tranny. Thx -Mav
