Talking 1989 Firebird drivers side fender removal and other questions...

Hey guys I just bought an 89 305 red formula and I have some questions (the car needs a lot of work)

*The drivers side fender is smashed in
Ive removed all the black plastic underneath (I guess its rush proofing stuff) and ive taken out the two bolts holding the drivers side fender in on the front (by the hood)
How do I get the rest of it off?

*The previous owner (poolside on here) said it would cut out at 120 he said the engine would just die, any ideas on that? (i dont really plan on going that fast anyway lol)

*Its an automatic with 161,000 miles on it, is this pushing it?

*Is it hard to put on a new serpentine belt? I bought a replacement from the auto store but im not sure where to start with it

Thanks for the help guys, im so excited ive always wanted a firebird

I swapped fenders a few years ago before I painted my 84 Firebird. My best advise is to just keep searching around on the edges of the fender for bolts. Most of them are on the bottom and top edges of it. If I remember right there is one or two on the very front, I believe that they attach to the bumper of the car. It took me a while to find them all when I changed mine. You will have to take the hood off in order to get the fender off because they share a couple of bolts. It works best to have 2 people to get the hood off becuase they aren't light and are fairly awkward to handle.
