93 Escort leaking fluid from behind clutch pedal

Today I discovered that fluid is dripping down from behind clutch pedal. I have also had to add fluid to the brake reservoir every two to three weeks prior to this discovery. Do the clutch and brakes pull from the same reservoir? Why do problems come in clusters? I just dropped almost $300 to have the water pump replaced. Now this.

They should be seperate. Look under the hood and you should see 2 reservoirs. If your not losing fluid from the clutch it may be leaking from the back of the brake master cyl. and trailing over to the clutch pedal. Brake fluid leaks are not a good thing-you need to get it fixed. As far money/cluster thing-the only cure I know of for that involves a new car payment and warrenty. Hope this helps.
