I think fuelworm 01-24-2004, 11:13 AM I have a Ford f150 EFI V8.dual tanks It turns over but want start I hear a constut humming like noise like the fuel pump is stuck. I bump it over and it try to start but cut out. Could it be the fuel pump, realy? It is two tanks my rear tank is full the front tank has about a quater tank of gas. Where is the fuel pump, realy,or senor located on this truck? I am stumt came some one please help me out hear? ModMech 01-24-2004, 02:10 PM What year? Some years have three fuel pumps with dual tanks, other have only two (one in each tank). It sounds like your "changeover" valve is stuck. The pump(s) is/are working, but the valve is preventing it from flowing, or you have an electrical roblem (no spark etc). worm 01-24-2004, 04:11 PM I have spark, should I chang the crossover vale and pumps are what? pete54ford 01-25-2004, 03:06 PM If ModMech is right, you need to change your "changeover" valve {remember, your not actually looking for a valve, but the part that opens and closes it}. I need to ask, whats your ability on mechanics? Just from the post it sounds like little to none. If I offended you I apologize, but if you dont know what your doing, I strongly suggest you take it to a mechanic. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
