I'm trying to find a repair manual for my 1998 Express with the 5.7 engine. I don't even know how to remove the engine cover!!

You can order one throuh Autozone.com it would be a Hanes manual which I found to be of the most help. By the way the cover comes off easy 6-10mm nuts hold the plastic glove box on 2 belowthe glove box, 2 in glove box and 2 on each side above.You have to pop trim peace off between cover and dash to get to nuts on side. Unplug lighter then pull off heat duck the cover is held on by 2 bungy type straps disconect and cover comes off. No bolts under hood to strip or rust tight.

If you have one let me know what you think of the manual please.... And what Manual # is it?

The manuals I'm familiar with from Haynes are repair manuals but the one listed on AutoZone says "MAINTENANCE" MANUAL???

I contacted Haynes directly and they said they JUST released a REPAIR manual for newer Express Vans, Manual #24081

I contacted JCWHITNEY and they don't carry it yet and are seeing if they can special order it.
