97 lumina keeps revving up on it's own

my lumina keeps revving up on it's own and i can't figure out why
replaaces erg, unplugged oxygen sensor and it's not doing it as bad but still revving up on own, checked all vac. hoses and they are connected
anybody have any ideas i've missed?
advice greatley appreciated

Have the Idle-Air control motor checked. Might be the culprit

Yes, maybe you just need to clean out the Idle Pintle in the throttle body(with carburetor cleaner). But probably it's a vaccuum leak--> my throttle body gasket was broken/dried out and it revved high too, so that was the fix for mine.

Yeah, its most likely a vaccuum leak. If you have stock vaccuum lines, they are made of crappy plastic which becomes very brittle under extreme heat, and it probably broke somewhere. If thats the problem, have them replaced with rubber ones.
