Barry idiot2 01-21-2004, 10:50 PM very nice :) burnM 01-22-2004, 12:22 AM Very nice man, you built it just like they used to... remus_nl 01-22-2004, 10:40 AM nice work :iceslolan pcmodeler 01-22-2004, 11:55 AM Nice model but how is that a lowrider? Looks factory stock with the addition of some Keystone style rims. slk320 01-22-2004, 12:18 PM Nice model but how is that a lowrider? Looks factory stock with the addition of some Keystone style rims. Hmm.. the model is nice, but looks to be stock height :) JBarry 01-22-2004, 05:40 PM Hmm.. the model is nice, but looks to be stock height :) Thanks. I cut parts off the rear suspension that would make it lower. I guess I suck mods :) haha. I'll put a couple sandbags in the trunk for when I show it :iceslolan J.Barry 86_SR5 01-22-2004, 05:57 PM cool. but needs to be low, ya know, low like get lower. nice build overall, what's with the blue firewall tho? JBarry 01-22-2004, 07:02 PM I'm lowering it more now. Front and rear. I took 5/32" off the rearend and I'm taking another 1/32" off the rear and 1/8th inch off the front.. that's about 3" in real life aye? Is that enough? I want this to be a lowrider, not a 'med-low' rider. Thanks for your opinions! I agree with you guys. Lower is better :) J. Barry 86_SR5 01-22-2004, 07:27 PM put it where the frame is 2.5mm from the ground!! then you're definetly low enough! Post some pics when you're done. JBarry 01-23-2004, 01:59 PM put it where the frame is 2.5mm from the ground!! then you're definetly low enough! Post some pics when you're done. CHOP! http://www.crownvic.net/jbarry/gtx1.jpg http://www.crownvic.net/jbarry/gtx2.jpg http://www.crownvic.net/jbarry/gtx3.jpg http://www.crownvic.net/jbarry/gtx4.jpg http://www.crownvic.net/jbarry/gtx5.jpg I really chopped her down this time. The frame is almost on the ground in the front. How does she look now? J. Barry dag65 01-23-2004, 02:40 PM Nice stance!!!!!!! 86_SR5 01-23-2004, 02:48 PM much better! now that's a sweeet lowrider! 008 02-01-2004, 01:00 AM Honestly I didn't think much of your first photos. But after that drop, wow! Good stuff! JBarry 02-01-2004, 01:11 AM Thanks guys. I appreciate all of your comments. She was my first 'custom' lowrider but surely won't be my last. Every kit I get that I can make into a lowrider, I am going to try it. I'm an North East Coast guy and I never see lowriders except at shows. So, I'll build my own. I am planning on dropping my 1:1 Crown Vic a few inches this spring. I know she'll look ballsie low. Again, thanks for the motivation and comments. J. Barry remus_nl 02-01-2004, 03:55 AM this is more like it nice work!! Purpura Delujo 02-01-2004, 05:07 AM Get some wide whites and supremes on that biatch! Will look ten times tighter with supremes and wide whites me thinks :sunglasse You just made me want to do a GTX lowrider now too, I got just the thing for one. Forhod 02-01-2004, 05:16 AM Very nice! Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
