Thumbs up Determing witch axle I have on my 94 4wd

The adivce I recieved on mt last post was so good I decided to come back to the well for a nother refeshing drink of knowlage!! I have a 94 explore 4wd and need to relpce the ball joint but have found there were to difrent axles used on this suv and was wondering if some one knows the easy way to tell wich one I have shy of breaking it down to count the splines. And if will require a specail size adaptor for my ball loint press?

There is an axle code on the door sticker that the parts house should be able to work from. There was a list somewhere but I can only remember that a "D" number is limited slip.
