Angry 1988 Beretta PROBLEMS!!

I have a 1988 beretta GT and sometimes when i allow the car to idle it stalls out i can drive it for a little while if i give it constant gas. I was wondering what my problem could be and how much it would cost to fix this problem thank you.

Re: 1988 Beretta PROBLEMS!!

sounds like either a fuel pump or filter issue I had a 89 gtz and it did that and the pump went bad.. Not expensive just a pain in the A$$ if you do it yourself.. Gotta drop the gas tank.. That is how i found out my frame was rotten on the car.. if you have it done it is gonna cost a few hundred bucks but try a filter

Stalling problem

Hello have a 1990 Baretta, I have had a similar problem a while back. When ever I stopped at a red light I would have to keep one foot on the gas and one on the brake just to keep it going.. The fix was very simple and cheap.. It was water in my MAP sensor.. $40 for a new one, 2 bolts and a va hose. Its located on the firewall and its all alone up there very easy to find and replace. Hope this helps
