johnv39 AF Newbie Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Nome, Alaska Posts: 2	91 Explorer engine removal Anybody got any good hints on getting at and removing the top two transmission (automatic) to engine bolts to allow engine removal in a 91 Explorer?

Opera House AF Enthusiast Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Cincinnati, Ohio Posts: 129	Re: 91 Explorer engine removal Unfortunantly, you need to remove the transmision cross member and allow the transmission to swing down. Then the bolts are easily accessable with a very long extension.
