As you can see from my user info, I am an NYC native, but I live and work in West Hartford now. There are indeed more CT people here, but I am unsure how many of them drive Hondas (I know SkylinesKillAll is nearby at CCSU, but I don't think he is big into Hondas).

As for the Pike, I've been there a handful of times.

winter SUCKS!!! good thing no snow so far :::knock on wood:::: gas pices suck too here, although they are not as bad as they were.

Bad radio stations?!?!?! What about WCCC, Radio 104, WAAF, WFNX, WHCN... although I guess this is dependent upon the type of music you like. For me, I'm thrilled with the airwaves most of the time :)

Sweet. And we can always keep it simpler and just form a group of our own at the Pike on a Friday or Saturday night.....

I've got my Hartford posse of people (who aren't associated with PH/AF), but that will give us three or four easy.. on a slow night! We'll get 10 cars without any problem.

o ye of little faith. i am actually big into hondas. me and a buddy of mine are building up a b20 with a gsr head. ill have my own honda in the spring, prolly a 90 or 91 hatch with a b16. dont really come around here much b/c i dont have a honda. if u guys wanted to meet up at the pike im all for it. when im at school im about 10 mins away from it so let me know :D

taco bell is one of the worst spots to go. cops are always going in there. whenever i set up meets we usually meet up in the Service Merchandise parking lot right accross the st. cops rarly pull in there compared to the bell.

Sorry, I've barely even been onto AF in the past month (my home internet connection has been out since Feb. 1st, and therefore it is very hard to find time to post, etc.).

About the 29th, I was actually leaning towards a Saturday.. and unfortunately, as for me, I can't commit to a date yet. Just too much uncertainty in my schedule until then. But in general, I like the idea of a Saturday meet more than a Friday (keep in mind that I am out, any Friday, until 6 pm at the very earliest).

Too bad about my car. I had hoped to have it tuned by then, but it doesn't look like that's going to be able to happen. It'll be there, but just not running all that impressively.

daviid does have a good point about the Taco Bell lot. It just happens to be a popular, well-lit spot. Obviously a lot of people meet at the Dunkin' Donuts lot, but if we have enough people, we won't even care about anybody else but us. So based on that (i.e. how many people will be showing up from this posse), we can probably decide whether we want to try meeting at the Bell or try another spot, like the Service Merchandise parking lot.

As for spreading the word, I guess I could put up a sticky. I am hoping that everyone who has posted in this thread with interest is in, but I know there are no guarantees about this. We'll stay on this, and keep an eye on either march 29th or 30th.

I wish I could go..maybe i will, but I won't be there with my car right now. the damn thing is getting painted, and i am doing the motor in it right now as well. but, i may be able to convince my friends to come up...not all of them drive hondas, actually, I'm the only one, but one kid has an integra. anyways, keep info posted, i'll try to make it down no matter what.
