Moisture In The Trunk and Custom Console

Hello everyone,

I'm glad the 'Net has provided me a way to ask questions w/o paying $300. I just bought a 93 del Sol S in fair condition. The carfax.com history report showed 0 issues and came with a $5000 guarantee. So I bought the car.

The car runs well and looks good, but does appear to be vandalized; someone keyed the passager side, and the lock is broken. Minor details for such a fine automobile.

What gets to me is, after driving, when I open the trunk, the inside/top of the trunk is covered in moisture. I don't know a lot about cars, but I'm pretty sure this is not good.

Has anyone ever had this problem, or knows the cause, and if so, how can I fix this issue....I'm hoping it is not exhaust comming into the car.

Finally, anyone know of a place where I could get a custom center console? I want switch the ash tray/cup holder location with the stereo.

Thank you for all your help,

Scott

Guess I need to re-scan my service manual pages for you. I'll try to get those up sometime this weekend if I can.
