Well first off, do you have the "5.4L" which is a V-8, or the "6.8L" which is a V-10?

In any event, headers are an excellant idea, as is a GOOD chip. IMO, there is only one GOOD chip, and for that contact www.fordchip.com. You WILL be impressed. These guys ACTUALLY know Ford EECs, they do things to the programming other chip makers don't even know is possible.

Its a 6.8L V10, we plan on putting the chip in after we do some other mods, from what we have heard its best to get one burned according to what you do to the truck. Nebody know anything aobut changing the MAS out ?

Changing the MAF will not net you more than a couple Hp, and will cost over $100. Not a very good return.

There are NO cams or anything like that for the V-10s yet either. And you are correct, the chip needs to match the mods, so waiting for that is a GREAT idea.

Re: v10 perforance q's help please

Nope.

Spacers are completely worthless (I've seen REAL dyno results to show this), and lager TBs are only worthwhile for engines with turbos or superchargers. Ford does a very good job of properly matching components, so unless you increase airflow by about 50% (50% more power) the stock parts are more than up to the task.
