Re: 2000 S10 Tune Up PCV install
Most, PCV Valves are located on the valve cover. And are VERY easy to change. They slide right in and out. Try following your vaccume lines, one of them will lead to the pcv valve.

Apparently this forum is not designed for answering simple questions like, where is that PCV valve?

Re: 2000 S10 Tune Up PCV install
I've got a 94' 4.3L V6, My PCV valve is located on the Passenger side valve cover, dead center on the top of the valve cover. To change takes less than a minute.
But that's my truck, obivously a 00' 4 banger is a different engine, so I can't tell you for sure.
From what I've seen on other engines, it's always on/near the top of the engine.

it is right behind the "black box" that says 2200 that attaches to your TB. two clamps and one 10mm bolt hold it on... the pcv valve actuall connects its vacuum hose to the back side of this box

Re: 2000 S10 Tune Up PCV install
on the 2.2 if you have the flat valve cover with a hose hooked into the rear pointing to the driver side and on to the front pointing to the passenger side the one in the front is your pcv valve

Thank you very much. I wasabout to give up and throw the valve away. Thanks for the quick response. This turned into a major mystery to the mechanics in my area. Terry1
