getting lifter noise

O.K. i'll start by saying I love my rado. It's a 1990 g60 corrado it has 137,000 miles on it but all in all still runs great. But i'm getting some pretty loud lifter noise that is scaring me a little. I don't know if its normal to have some lifter noise or not?A friend thats got an Audi said his car has the same problem so is it just vw and audi? I hope it's nothing big, but even if it is i'll never let the rado die!!!! I just bought the stage 4 kit from BBM with the new lifters and the rsr outlet. Should I wait to put all the stuff on the car till I figure out why the lifters are banging or is it O.K. to go ahead and do it? Thanks in advance!!!

Re: getting lifter noise

this may seem like a silly question... but what type of oil are you running?
