help again please

ok, i got a 93 euro that acts like it wants to die when i come to a stop and there is a loud pop sound in the trans. some one told me that it is the converter lock up silenoid. now my question is, can anyone tell me what color the wires are the control the silenoid and if they are locatedin the plug right above the modgilator vavle. please please help!!!!!

with the lock up cylinoid unhooked yes. a friend told he has dont it on many cars but he is not 100% sure on the color of the wire

It's a 4 wire square shaped plug adjacent to the vacuum modulator.
