Is There A Sentra That Has A Sr20det Motor Stock?

Does Nissan Make A Sentra With Sr20det Stock, If So Between What Years And What Type Of Car Model Should I Ask For?

And If They Didn't What Is The Next Motor Size Lower Than Sr20det That Nissan Put Out Into A Stock Sentra And What Years Did They Make Them And What Model Should I Ask For?

Answer to first question, no.

To answer the second one, I'll quote myself from a thread in the Street Racing forum:

I will also leave out the trucks and vans, even though the VG, VQ and KA series have been used in them. I'll also keep it within the 90's and above.

Nissan guys, correct me where I'm wrong.

Re: Is There A Sentra That Has A Sr20det Motor Stock?

hey carrrnuttt i remember reading a post where you raced with a 5.0 anyway you said all you had was advanced timing and a intake and ran 15.0

well i read in the 04 nissan performance mag there se-r classic

We ran a 9.786 @ 71.37 MPH! If you do the math, this is equal to an approximate 15.27 ET in the ¼ mile - not too bad for a car with 285,500 miles with only a Hotshot CAI, Hotshot header, and a 2-¼ mandrel exhaust system. Remember that "Project SE-R Classic" makes 133.4 horsepower and 121.8 ft. lbs. of torque

so how you ran a 15.0 with ounly timein and intake

I don't know man. I only know what I got, with what I have.

This is the thread you are talking about : http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...rnuttt+90redgt

I also included a link in the post where I put up pics of my G-Tech time. Its a link to the G-Tech site, explaining the high MPH reading.

To clarify, I haven't been able to repeat the 15.0 run, having had a best of about 15.2 since, on the same flat stretch of road...but that's with a clutch on its last legs.

I also haven't ran at an actual track, because I'm worried that the prepped-track surface will finally blow-out my already-dying clutch. As soon as I get the new clutch/flywheel combo, I'll run it.

Maybe I have a factory freak?

P.S. - you should also make note that the project car from the magazine you are quoting, is closing-in on 300K miles. Although mine is no spring chicken, at 120K+, I'm sure it's also a LOT healthier than the 300K project car, more mods or not.
