powerstroke - talking to the computer?

what does it take to talk with a powerstroke computer, I wont to read codes; what does someone need?

Well, if it's an OBD-II compliant vehicle ('96 up) you need a code scanner. I use, and reccomend a laptop/PC based unit by www.obd-2.com. For about $125 and a laptop you can get codes from ANY '96 up Ford product, and some '95s.
