Electrical problem

My son has a 2001 Corvette LS1 with,we think, possible computer problems. Yesterday evening he came home and said the dash panel lights for ABS, parking lights, oil pressure indicator, fuel indicator, temp indicator, and driver's door panel were not working or lit up. The passenger window hasn't operated for some time. Then, also, last night, his drivers side window stopped working. Now,this morning,we checked it again and he's back to just the passenger window not working and everything else is fine. We checked all the fuses and they checked out fine. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dave

Re: Electrical problem

The class II serial data has to be checked, to see if all the modules are communicating with each other. All the computers in the car (about 11) need to talk to each other on what they call a class II serial data line.

A scan will reveal any problems. Then a recommended course of repair can follow. Off to a dealer.
