Hi, i need a Vortech Supercharger kit for the 2000 Ford Contour SVT engine. I know that they are no longer produced by Vortech. I am hoping that someone will either have one that is in great shape or that knows a place that has one. I am willing to pay top dollar for a used kit or a new one. Any info helps. If anyone knows any other supercharger kit out there that will work on this engine please let me know. I will pay someone $20 via paypal for any info that leads to me getting a hold of a vortech supercharger. Thanks, please email me at cstorino@carthage.edu

Check out contour.org. Theres quite a few vortech owners who are dying to get of their units. I think every person thats running the Vortech on their contour/cougar has either stripped the jackshaft and/or gotten oil leaks. Its a piece of junk.

If you are really set on buying one, I know there is a guy on contour.org who iirc was selling his for about $4200 which includes custom made msds headers, oil accusump, and powdercoated pipes.

If you could give him him contact info, that would definately help. I would have to seen pictures of everything first.
