02 Chevy S-10 hop ups??

I want to hop up my 02 s10 2wd. I've have been looking for stuff on the web but have not found to much. I've seen chips on EBAY but don't want to buy the cheap stuff. Also I would like to put on a supercharger later on, But my truck has 50000 miles on it. What would need to be done to the motor before an install of a supercharger????

well get a new exaust headers and such I was told that you want at least 25000 miles on it before you put a supercharger on it but I dont know why also I would get a ignition system maybe a new cam and have the heads ported and polished and you will hit the 300 hp mark with out a problem

well I just looked for you I found 2 different programers hypertech $340.99 and a superchip $378.99 I dont know which is better but I was not happy with the hypertech I found them at performancecenter.com
they are for the 02 S10 pickup 4.3 I know if you buy the hypertech programmer and you want more then it gives you you have to send it in to get it reprogramed which costs more money I did the reprograming myself it wasnt easy to do had to write a program to read the programer and it wasnt worth the time it took there are places you can send your computer to get it reprogramed cost is about the same as if you buy a programer but they can do more then the programer can its somthing you might want to look into

my friend jus got flowmasters put on his truck, 40 series, sounds nice, you could also get and intake for a little increase, and get your computer reprogrammed i think there set to cut off at 93 mph little stuff like that would help

jshor:
What kind of Venom injectors do you have?? Are they stock replacements? I didn't know any other companies made a performance mod for good'ole GM's spider injection. lol. Did you have to custom make an intake manifold to hold normal injectors? I deffinately need my truck to go a little faster. ( 02 GMC Sonoma, 4.3L )
