Difference between JDM b16 and USDM b16

I now the major differences like compression, hp and OBD differences. And i now that the plugs on the distrubutor and injectors are different, but is there any thing different between the engines, like i'm buying a JDM b16A2 and i'm gonna use a OBD2 engine harness and OBD2 ecu, are there any connections that are on the USDM B16a2 that are not going to be on the JDM b16a2???

im not fully sure... but i believe that the b16a has 160 USDM and 170 JDM (from what i hear) it must be in the compression or in the head

Re: Difference between JDM b16 and USDM b16

It has nothing to do with the motor being from Japan, other than the 92-95 B16A (170ps) running a higher compression, there is no difference between the USDM B16A's and the JDM.

The differences in plugs are from the OBD differences, not regional.

okay, the difference in the motors internally i beleive is the piston design. The jdm has a higher dome.
