removing gundams

hey, if i made a mistake with a gundam marker, how do i remove it? without removing too much or any of the paint?

also, is it safe to clear coat over gundams? and how long should i wait before doing the coat (let the marker dry...)

(i'm assuming i mark now, 2 days after the paint got on the shell)

Re: removing gundams

There's a Gundam Marker removal pen available; I got mine from HobbyLink Japan.

Re: removing gundam marker

ok, thanks for the help...

now i know that lacquer is not meant to go over acrylic.... so can i clear over gundams? and can i clear over acrylic paints (without paint running, i don't mind if clear coat slips off the paint, i just don't want the paint to run....)

Re: removing gundam marker

I do Gundam panel lines last on a project if that helps you. I don't want to take the chance of finding out the hard way if they'll run.

Re: removing gundam marker

Depends on how good you mask the model; the more quality time you spend masking, the better the end result is likely to be.
