Is it true that z uses a low quality paints on the car???? if any of you has ever come accross a problem with the paint of your z please tell me..

i have a 90 300zx, with original paint, and the only paint chips that i have come from everyday driving, like rocks dinging the front end and what not, and my car was originally a florida car, so all that heat and no chips or bubbles after 14 years is pretty good in my book

i don't think its a case of low-quality paint. rather its due to the new environmental laws. yes, be prepared to for numerous paint chips on the front bumper. to solve this problem..... get a clear bra.

Mine chips like a MOFO but honestly I'm not sure if it's a paint issue or just that I pay more attention to this car than previous ones.. :yugosmili

i have a white z and drove it for 2 months befor i got a clear bra and it didnt get any chips
