Installing Tenzo SeatsimtheoneandonlyD 01-08-2004, 05:53 PM I recently bought Tenzo rally seats for my 98 eclipse. They came with universal sliders and i got tenzo seat brackets from carxpressions.com. I have my passenger seat out right now and i have no clue how to get the seats in....Can anyone help me? Pictures would be awesome.....im so lost. Import2nr99 01-08-2004, 06:04 PM I've never done tenzo... but I"m sure they aren't all that different... what are you stumped one? mounting the seat or the bracket? Iluvsky-line 01-08-2004, 11:12 PM dont those seating just bolt in the stock location? isnt that what there desined 2 do? Import2nr99 01-08-2004, 11:24 PM I know the corbeau ones fit pretty close.... needed a little drilling cause the seat was more narrow. But is you have universal sliders you're going to need to bolt one into the existing holes and drill for the other side imtheoneandonlyD 01-09-2004, 05:55 AM I dont know how to get the bracket in, like the floor is flat and the bracket has the spots with holes at an angle. Import2nr99 01-09-2004, 05:09 PM What car are you installing them in? Do you have universal brackets or are they specifically made for your car? imtheoneandonlyD 01-09-2004, 05:34 PM 98 eclipse rs....they are made for my car, i bought them at carxpressions.com they were made for the 95-99 eclipse i believe. Import2nr99 01-09-2004, 05:53 PM Well as long as the holes line up when they're bolted to the seat you're good to go. The angled end should face foreward and bolt into a raised section in the floor. The other end should bolt directly into the floor. If I remember correctly..... If all else fails, get a rubber mallet and smack that bitch flat and bolt it to the floor! imtheoneandonlyD 01-09-2004, 06:09 PM the holes in the bracket dont dont seem to line up though. Maybe i am doing this wrong? from the ground up it goes brackets, sliders, seats right? Im far from knowing everything here and its showing. Import2nr99 01-09-2004, 06:26 PM It's cool man... I struggled with mine too. Often times, even with mine and they're corbeau, you have to drill new holes. Just bolt the seats to the brackets and place them in the car as close to the stock position as possible. Mark the holes, drill new ones, and bolt the seats in. Shouldn't be much more than that. If you have any more trouble I'll try to help my best. You're probably just gonna have to drill new holes. imtheoneandonlyD 01-10-2004, 04:52 AM it doesnt seem like the bracket is wide enough for the front bolts that are coming from the floor.
